Pan-seared flounder, fresh and delicate…and peerless raspberry pie and a slice of apple pie crowned with cinnamon ice cream.”
– Dan’s North Fork – Occupying a beautifully renovated 100 year old farmhouse, Northside serves some of the freshest fish around. To start, try a bowl of their excellent New England style clam chowder or equally yummy Manhattan style seafood chowder. Also swell are the horseradish crusted salmon and a marinated grilled New York strip steak. You might think that steak is an afterthought here, but the special we tried on a recent weeknight was every bit as good as those at steakhouses and cooked precisely to order. The classic fish n chips are light and greaseless…”

But what made it was the fact that we lived in THAT house 38 years ago when hubby Bill was stationed at Suffolk Air Force Base in Westhampton!!! You have restored the house to be so pretty, yet keeping so much of its old charm…congratulations on your newest endeavor.”
