Lobster Roll Restaurant

Lobster Roll Northside occupies a meticulously restored farmhouse at the head of the Baiting Hollow Commons complex, also the home of the popular Gingerbread University Decorating and Party Center. The restaurant offers a lovely eat-in bar and taproom, karaoke on Friday evenings, and music on the deck in season. A complete Carry-Out Café is just inside the entrance and there is also a children’s playground, a kid’s menu, and an outdoor pet-friendly seating area.

Serving up fresh seafood and steak and of course, the famed lobster roll, Northside represents a more countrified version of the famed Hampton’s eatery most know simply as “LUNCH.” Besides the lobster roll, signature dishes include “puffers” (deep fried North Atlantic Blowfish), blueclaw crabcakes, nut crusted broiled fish, steamed lobster, shrimp, and a marinated black angus shell steak. A complete burger and sandwich menu rounds out the offerings.

Frederick H. Terry Sr., a North Fork native and the originator of both, designed and built the complex to fit in with the rural nature of the area. The original “Terry” farm was across the street and the 200 year old family farmhouse sits just down the road.

With its diversity of offerings, Northside truly has something for everyone.
